Dessert First is a California inspired bakery cafe offering quality sweet temptations and lunch time treats. Located in downtown Eau Claire, it is your ultimate destination for cupcakes and other great snacks.

As of May 1st, we have received notice that our lease is not being renewed. We have been given 30 days to vacate our space. We are currently looking for other spaces and it is our priority to stay downtown close to our roots!

To prepare for this move, our last day serving out of this location will be Friday, May 22nd. We have changed our hours to be able to utilize our time the next three weeks. Please stay tuned to this site for more updates on our situation and for specials our last week of operation.

As most of you know, we cupcake makers donate all of our tips to community agencies throughout the year. Our future recipient will be Big Brothers Big Sisters during their annual Bowl for Kids Sake! Our team won the Small Business award last year for donating the most moolah!

We need your help: Our team has a fundraising goal of $3,000…with your help we can reach that goal. We have decided to reward you for giving to the cause…If you donate at least $30, we will give you a 4 pack of cupcakes! Donate at least $75 and you will get a dozen!
